Our philosophy at Imagination Station Child Development Center is to regard the personal qualities of each child as unique gifts to be nurtured, shared and appreciated. Our curriculum is based upon sound child development principles and best practices.
Children learn:
- to be responsible for their behavior choices,
- to use words, art, music, writing and exercise to express themselves,
- to be an empathetic friend,
- to appreciate diversity
- and to find positive ways of coping with day-to-day challenges.
Children who leave our center are well-equipped to socialize, learn and thrive in a larger public or private school setting.

In the heart of Michigan City, Indiana, at the entrance to Edgewood Forest residential development, you will find our state-of-the-art child care facility. Imagination Station, the safest place to be, has:
- Closed circuit monitoring of every room
- One way windows and mirrors allowing parent viewing at all times
- Secured entry system
- Strict adherence to licensing, health and fire regulations
- Three age-appropriate fenced-in playgrounds
- Severe weather and fire drills every month
- Classroom guest speakers on child protection and safety
